The Latino Committee 2000 will host a welcome Reception/Dance for all the 2000 Delegates visiting our City. This after-hours party will be an event highlighting the flavor of the Latino community, through its talent, music and food.
La Espaņola will be presenting "Paella for 5000!" at this beautiful
venue with the grandiose backdrop of the L.A. skyline.
This "taste of the Latino Culture" will leave a lasting impression for all 5000 delegates, media and dignitaries visiting our city.
The Latino Committee 2000 (LC 2000) is a nonprofit civic organization based in Los Angeles, California which seeks to optimize visibility and maximize participation and opportunities for Latinos during the 2000 National Democratic Convention.
The Latino Committee 2000, was founded by Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina, and Congressional members Xavier Becerra and Lucille Roybal-Allard.
